Current research & Graduate Student Recruitment

My research work is supported by NSERC, MITACS and PIMS throuh various grants, such as NSERC individual discovery grant, NSERC Engage grant, Enagage Plus grant, Mitacs Globalink, Mitacs Accelerate etc. I also received generous support from my researech partner (Geo-X).  I am currently recruiting graduate students in both master and Ph.D levels. Perspective students should have strong background in applied  and computational mathematics and high level computing skills. Possible research projects/topics include numerical solution to time-dependent PDEs, computational methods for seismic inversion problems,  efficient and accurate numerical methods for seisimic imaging problems and applictions in energy industry, inverse modelling and adjoint analysis.  Interested applicants are encouraged to contact me prioir to submit your application.
